MEXICO CITY, January 10 (EL UNIVERSAL).- For this 2023, the Unemployment Insurance Program has the “Active Unemployment Insurance” sub-program, in which beneficiaries will receive support of 6,000 pesos up to three times when they perform social or social services, coordinated by the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion in Mexico City.
The beneficiaries will be 7,222 people, who will work five days a week in a service schedule of up to five hours, or it will be determined on the basis of community co-responsibility or social service activities.
The activities are classified as follows: administrative support, support for service fairs, tequio in the territorial units of Mexico City, among others.
Applications for the Unemployment Insurance Program and Active Unemployment Insurance Sub-Program can be submitted through the link www.tramites.cdmx.gob.mx/desempleo; and at the offices of the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion, located at San Antonio Abad 32, Tránsito neighborhood, office of the mayor of Cuauhtémoc.
The requirements and documentation necessary to apply for these supports can be consulted and are: Generate your CDMX Key account, you must make your application in the unemployment insurance platform where you must attach your original legible and complete documentation without exception, in format PDF or JPG; having held a regular job before losing it, for a natural or legal person, for a minimum period of six months accumulated between 2021 and 2023.
In addition to having lost his formal job through no fault of his own as of January 1, 2021; letter under oath to be sure, in which you certify that you are not simultaneously a beneficiary of any other similar or analogous program of the Government of Mexico City, with economic assistance and that you do not receive economic income from retirement, pension or subsidy equal to or greater than what grants the program; declaring to be unemployed, he also declares that all the requirements and documents he delivers are authentic, reliable and corresponding to his person.
In a factsheet, the Secretary of Labor and Employment Promotion of Mexico City, José Luis Rodríguez Díaz de León, highlighted that the objective of the “Unemployment Insurance” program and the “Active Unemployment Insurance” sub-program ” is to have training, support and that people can be placed in a job or given the tools to create a small business.
“This support is a public resource that is disbursed directly and we add training and community service to reduce inequality and support people who have lost their jobs through no fault of their own. This is the different way to govern, it is not to condition support , but simply to allocate public resources for what is needed,” he said.
