Al-Marsad Newspaper: 30-year-old former UFC mixed martial arts fighter Kevin Lee announced his conversion to Islam in 2021, expressing his happiness that he is on the right path.
Lee, who is currently competing for Russian champion Habib Nurmagomedov’s Eagle club, spoke about the reasons for taking that step, during an interview posted Tuesday on ESPN Sports.
He added: “I accepted Islam, I converted to Islam, I really accepted my place in life as a Muslim, and because I was always alone, Islam brought me into a kind of brotherhood (with Muslims) “.
She continued, “I’m talking to more Muslims every day and it feels good because I’m forming more bonds with these people.”
