Books – Ahmed Gomaa:
Dr Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, a spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population, said all viruses mutate and make copies of themselves to live and spread, and most of these mutations occur randomly.
He explained, in statements to the press today, Wednesday, that the ‘Omicron’ mutant produced a number of sub-strains and mutations, but the World Health Organization has not described any of these mutants as of concern.
The minister’s spokesman was surprised, pointing out that no corona deaths were recorded during the first week of this year and that precautionary measures must always be taken to prevent viral diseases, in addition to: good ventilation, continuous disinfection, wearing a mask in crowded places, and take doses of stimulants for all those who are over 6 months and are under 60 and do not suffer from chronic diseases, and for the elderly who are over 60 and are over 3 months and have chronic diseases.
