Viktor Ahn, who won three gold medals as a Korean athlete at the Turin 2006 Winter Olympics, naturalized as a Russian citizen in 2011 to continue his career when his team was disbanded.
As a Russian athlete, he won three gold medals at the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics, but was unable to compete at the 2018 PyeongChang Games due to a doping scandal in Russia.

The association explained, “It has a similar shape to wild ginseng from the Baekje and Unified Silla eras,” and “As a result of the component analysis, substances with excellent antitumor activity were found to be high.”
Meanwhile, in China in 2009, wild ginseng weighing 312g was sold at a price of KRW 600 million.
