The legendary player of the “white and blue” goalkeeper Alexander Shovkovskiy will become one of the assistants of the coach of “Dynamo” Mircea Lucescu.
A former pupil of the club, Shovkovsky played in the first team for 24 seasons, from the 1993/94 season, when he was transferred from Dynamo-2, to the 2016/17 season, during which, before the winter break, he ended his career as a career player. In total, from 1994 to 2016, he played 635 official matches for Dynamo.
From 2018 to 2022, Shovkovsky was a member of the coaching staff of the Ukrainian national team, first led by Andriy Shevchenko, then Oleksandr Petrakov.
