In the department the tournaments mark a break and the singles continue practically in anonymity. In national interclubs, the TCD’s +55 almost achieved a good performance.

National Veterans Interclubs

The national phase of veteran interclubs kicked off on Sunday. The only Côte-d’Oriens in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté league are two TCD teams. The +55s were beaten in Grenoble (4-1) where they played in perf. Hoymans’ match wasn’t enough in a match where the four matches ended with a super tie-break in 10 points. The +65s start on Thursday in Jargeau (45).

Guillaume on two fronts

Interclub +35 departmental

A so-called “Seniors +35” team championship comprising 21 committee veterans of all ages began on Sunday, and will continue until February 5 (final round on February 26). Four men’s divisions (77 teams) and three women’s (23 teams). Each match consists of three singles and one doubles.

National Interclubs

The dates of the national spring interclubs are fixed: 30 April, 7, 14, 21 May and 4 June. They are identical and broken down by regional and departmental. The BFC league will be represented in the national league by eight women’s and fourteen men’s teams.

The Côte-d’Or will rely on five teams: the women of Longvic (N1), Beaune (N3) and the men of ASPTT Dijon (N3), TC Dijon and Duc (N4). Note the repechage of the lords of Mâcon (N4).
