The governor of Puebla, Sergio Salomon Cespedesreiterated that the application of the law has a single and exclusive purpose, which is to take care of the heritage of the people of Puebla, so there will be no provisioning of the complaints that have been filed for corruption cases.
In an interview with the media, after presiding over the forest fire prevention and treatment ceremony, he was questioned about the arrest of the former director of the Puebla Toll Roads, Rodolfo Chávez Escudero.
He stressed that there is no impunity in the body and any complaints against acts of corruption will be followed up.
“Whoever is not to blame will have no problem and whoever is will have to take responsibility. There is no provision (for complaints that have been filed),” he said.
When asked about the reason for Chávez Escudero’s arrest, the governor said he could not go into details because the investigations are entrusted to the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE), but he was only able to confirm that “there has been damage to the assets of Puebla.
How it was disclosed The Universal Puebla, Rodolfo Chávez Escudero, former director of Puebla Toll Roads (PCC), was arrested by members of the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR).
The arrest took place on Monday 9 January, at 2.50 pm, at the facilities of the National Migration Institute (INM)located inside the Benito Juárez International Airport of Mexico City, which appears in the National Registry of Detentions (RND).
The former director was denounced by the extinct Miguel Barbosa Huerta in May 2022, due to alleged irregularities with the suppliers of the Articulated Urban Transport Network (RUTA).
