After years of rumors and speculation, Mazda has finally come out with an official statement on when exactly we will see a new model from the brand equipped with a Vaneklov engine. This will happen this month, precisely on January 13, during the Brussels Motor Show. The model will appear on the market this spring.
We are talking about the MX-30 crossover, which will receive the Wankel engine, which will serve as a generator for the electric drive of the electric model. The company has yet to reveal specific details about the model, but has shared the new logo that will distinguish Wankel-powered models.
Currently, the MX-30 is available with an extremely small 35.5 kWh battery and a range of around 200 kilometers on a single charge. Drive is provided by an electric motor in the front tires, which generates 144 horsepower.
