Kaufland polarizes with an advertising spot: customers have clear needs

Kaufland has once again achieved a real marketing highlight. With a strong cast and a captivating character, the new commercial goes viral on YouTube.

Dortmund – The Kaufland supermarket has already attracted attention in the past thanks to advertising collaborations with celebrities from the world of TV and the Internet. Kaufland has now released a new commercial. Customers not only celebrate the song, but also the cast of the music video.

TV chef Steffen Henssler, Twitch streamer Jens “Knossi” Knossalla and rapper Sido are already part of the series of marketing collaborations with Kaufland. So it does last commercial online with the musician duo “Die Atzen”. The two party singers perform their song “Disco-Pogo” on a large tape. However, in the context of the Kaufland cooperation, the text has been reworded to “cheap discount”.

Head of marketing, Christoph Schneider, announced that this time the advertisement for Kaufland’s low-priced range should be packaged in a “catchy party tune”. Dancing fruits and vegetables also add a dash of humor to the clip. In terms of content, it is no longer about celebrating, but “Die Atzen” celebrates the wide range of “cheap discounts”, crunchy specials and extra discounts on the Kaufland Card in the song.

Some even want the song to be uploaded to the Spotify streaming platform. On the other hand, there are hardly any negative comments under the YouTube video. Kaufland seems to dust off real successes thanks to his collaborations with well-known personalities from television and the Internet.
