The active cases of Covid-19 in Galicia have increased to 1,358, or 32 more than those registered this Friday by the Department of Health. In addition, Sergas communicated a new death, so much so that the victims of Covid in the Galician community amount to 3,983 since the beginning of the pandemic.
According to data notified this Saturday by the Ministry collected until 18:00 this Friday, active cases are increasing in the health area of A Coruña and Cee, which registers 233 (+2); in Lugo, A Mariña and Monforte, which has 165 (+16); in Santiago and O Barbanza, which has 211 active cases (+12); and in that of Vigo, which reports 304 (+13).
On the other hand, they decrease in the Ferrol health area, which registers 88 (-3); in Ourense, Verín and O Barco, which drops to 229 (-6); and in Pontevedra and O Salnés, which has 127 (-1).
HOSPITALIZED
As for hospitalized patients, the data known this Saturday reflects a slight decrease, as Galician hospitals have 166 people hospitalized with Covid-19, one less than the previous day.
One less hospitalized is thus reported in the ward, which stands at 158, while eight people are kept in the intensive care units.
Of the total hospitalized, 50 are in the health area of A Coruña; 29 at Ourense; 26 in Lugo; 23 in Vigo; 20 in Santiago; 14 in Pontevedra; and four in Ferrol.
