They announced a flu epidemic in Burgas from January 12th. This is done by decision of the regional pandemic headquarters.
Scheduled consultations of healthy pregnant women and newborns are suspended, as well as all preventive examinations and vaccinations. Healthcare facilities are recommended to expand the network of internal departments at the expense of other departments to accommodate patients with flu and post-flu complications.
Visits to the hospital were also suspended. Control over the filtering of children in kindergartens, as well as staff, is being strengthened.
Lessons are suspended and there is a transition to non-attendance in schools and universities in the Burgas region. The online training will take place from 12 to 17 January.
Crisis headquarters will meet again on January 17.
