This is the figure behind the global popularity of Balinese Arak, the owner of WINE

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia PT Hatten Bali Tbk with stock code WINE today (10/1/2023) officially takes the floor at the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The company engaged in the distribution of alcoholic beverages has released 678 million shares or 25.02% of the fully paid-up and issued capital, at a price of Rp 129 per share.

Looking back, it is known that the founder and director of the company, Ida Bagus Rai Budarsa started the alcoholic beverage business in 1994. It was at that time that he started selling french rosé wine (white wine), which today is the company’s main product. Ida is the son of IB Gotama, the founder of Dewi Sri (FA Udiyana), a pioneer of wine distillation whose main products are Balinese wine and brem.

Budarsa officially founded PT Hatten Bali in 2000. Following in his father’s footsteps, Hatten Wines has become a wine pioneer in Indonesia and Asia. Budarsa was selected as founder member by the Asian Wine Producers Association and received the “Wine Pioneer of Asia” award.

Meanwhile, PT Hatten Bali Tbk has also managed to build and maintain the cultivation of local grapes, as well as international grapes on its own land and in collaboration with local growers and successful winemaking which is also strengthened by numerous international awards through competition awards winemaking has received.

The products marketed by the company are products produced by its subsidiary, namely PT Arpan Bali Utama. Same with PT Hatten Bali Tbk, this beverage factory is located in Sanur, Bali. While the wine plantation is located in Buleleng Regency.

However, not all grape varieties can be grown in Bali, even the raw materials are imported from Australia. This is what later became the Two Island brand. Up to now, PT Hatten Bali Tbk has four brands, namely, Hatten, Two Island, Two Island Reserve and Dragonfly.

Hatten is a wine product made from Bali grapes, either from the company’s own plantation or from farmers. Meanwhile, Two Island, Two Island Reserve and Dragonfly are wines made from grapes imported from Australia.
