Friday 13 January h At 18.00 at the Centro Culturale Valmiera brass bands will perform, percussion instruments will be played and soloists will be called.
Finally, on Saturday 14 January at 16.00 in the concert hall “Valmiera” – a swarm of musical families “Medus dzulzei”, of which Inese Sudraba says: “This will be a concert for the soul. Families where different generations play music together , families who do it every day, and families who, just for this event, relatives and friends of the family will have gathered for the occasion.Popular music, compositions by the greats of music, pop and jazz will be played both alone and in duet and in ensemble. Thanks for the courage – because it is daring to perform for the public – and the warmth of the heart, the families will perform a musical at the end of the Sejani family concert.”
The winter music festival will kick off with a concert at Valmiera St. Simon’s Church on 15 January at 2.00pm, featuring performances by organist Līga Ivāne, violinist Maija Ozola and flautist Elita Ezermale.
