Federal Minister of Housing Klara Geywitz invites all cities and municipalities to participate in the Urban Development Financing Day 2023. On 13 May 2023, under the motto “Wir im Quartier”, events related to urban development will take place throughout Germany promotion of urban construction and urban development. The Urban Development Financing Day is a joint initiative of the federal government, the federal states, the German Association of Towns and the German Association of Towns and Municipalities. All events that reflect the diversity of urban development funding and motivate people to participate are welcome again in 2023, be it city walks, site inspections, workshops, city rallies, open days, exhibitions or even digital formats.
In addition to the program, municipalities, institutions and organizations, clubs, trade associations, redevelopment agencies, cultural operators, owners and retailers are also invited to participate in the Urban Development Funding Day, with their own events and campaigns and support the theme of sustainable urban development .
