On Monday, January 9, an An-2 passenger plane crashed in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug of the Russian Federation.
Two people were reportedly killed in the fall.
In total, there were 10 passengers and two crew members on board the aircraft.
Local authorities call icing the preliminary cause of the An-2 crash.
“Emergency services specified that the plane was flying from Uchkar to Nariman. The circumstances of the crash are being investigated,” the statement read.
