This divorce went down in history forever.
Often the parting of rich couples turns into a whole epic. A vivid example is Melinda Gates, who sued her husband Bill for a fabulous sum. But this figure is far from the highest in history.
So, in 2016, billionaire Bill Gross divorced his wife Sue. They lived together for 30 years, but, despite this solid period, they could not part amicably. Banal, but the cause of a grandiose scandal was the question of the division of property.
As a result of the divorce proceedings, Bill was forced to pay an insane amount of $1.3 billion, which is more than half of Gross’s entire fortune. Subsequently, his name was permanently deleted from the Forbes list. In addition, the husband was forced to give his wife three cats, even though he fought desperately for one of her favorites.
This was the last straw in his patience, and Bill decided to take revenge on his ex-wife. The oligarch has hired special people to spread a terrible stench in her villa. Bad smelling sprays and vials of odorous substances were used, and rotten fish were placed in the ventilation hatches by the “charterers”. Revenge was successful, but not without consequences: the offended wife filed a lawsuit against the former.
