Defending champions and leaders Ferencváros prepared in Mezőköves ahead of the continuation of the league, and on Friday the green-and-white squad traveled to Benidorm, Spain, for a training camp. However, according to Nemzeti Sport’s report, FTC striker Tokmac Nguen did not go to southern Europe with the rest of the squad that day, but headed north. The 29-year-old player in London undergoing medical examinations – not because he was going to move to another club, but due to a previous injury, his leg was examined by a specialist. Then, of course, Nguyen also traveled to Spain.
In his statement to the sports newspaper, the Norwegian striker revealed that he is confident that no player will leave the club, but at the same time understands if anyone will, because sometimes there are better offers and the transfer would be good for both the footballer and the club. For his part, Nguyen is feeling great at Ferencváros, which is why he didn’t leave last summer.
– As for me, when I decided to stay in the summer, I listened to my heart. Everyone thinks it will be better somewhere else.
