A rare and spectacular accident occurred on Sunday evening in the municipality of concrete (Ille-et-Vilaine), north of Rennes. Around 20:20, three stray horses broke onto provincial road 29. Their encounter with a car was unfortunately fatal, the motorist was unable to avoid them.
Affected, the three animals did not survive the collision, reports the Firefighters of Ille-et-Vilaine.
The driver of the vehicle is safe and sound. However, he was treated by the emergency services. A police investigation has been opened to try to understand what might have happened.
