In the video, according to Hazes, Coldeweijer makes “incorrect and very offensive statements” about Hazes’ role in the leak of a personal letter from his son André Hazes to his ex Sarah van Soelen. Coldeweijer also made statements about the consequences he would have had for the relationship between mother and son Hazes. Hazes’ attorney believes Coldeweijer’s claims “cross the line.”
Coldeweijer had previously taken the video offline after a summons from Hazes, but decided to put the video back online on 27 December. Coldeweijer is certain that she is right and that there is no contact between Hazes and her son André. “We have seen the truth for ourselves and so I will not be intimidated,” Coldeweijer said.
