Diana shared that long before the incident, she had seen police officer Simona Radeva on patrol in the ‘Dianabad’ neighborhood. “I was glad there was a girl on the police team then,” her grieving mother shared. Currently, Radeva is a witness in the case against Semerdzhiev and has admitted in court that she helped him into her apartment through the balcony on the fateful night.
Diana Stefanovic also said that she goes to her daughter’s hairdresser at least once a week. “The police said she was dismembered and I think she is as much at the ‘Malashevtsi’ cemetery as at the crash site. I’m going there to talk to her,” her blackened mother said.
According to her, it is strange that no claims were made by the taxi driver, whose car was also swept over by Semerdzhiev’s jeep in the accident.
Simona Radeva admitted that she took the ladder to Semerdzhiev’s house
“I assume that he was compensated out of court – this alone can explain his behavior,” journalist Slavi Angelov commented for his part. And he expressed doubts that Semerdzhiev’s patronage is not so much connected with the traffic police as with the “drug organization with which he works.”
Checks carried out around the detainee revealed that over the years he has been “supervised in different ways”. “For example, for traffic violations, instead of handing over materials to the prosecutor’s office, since the offenses are more serious, he was administratively punished,” Angelov noted.
“There are many people like Semerdzhiev. A military prosecutor also appeared at the scene of the accident on the fateful night. Because we can only guess. But I’m sure it was not sent officially by the prosecutor’s office,” the reporter added.
Diana Stefanovic also shared that she does not hate either Semerdzhiev or those allegedly involved in the case. “I just want justice. I follow all the cases and I intend to do it to the end,” her mother said. And she added that on public transport she accidentally met Simona Radeva’s mother, who cried, clearly recognizing her as Diana.
