A large part of southern Norway has snowed heavily over the past week, which has resulted in a lot of snow. Now, however, the weather has changed and heavy rains are expected in several places.
The speed limit has been lowered along the entire E18 from Bommestad in Larvik to Lierbakkene near Drammen.

Weather change with rain and snowmelt has led the Meteorological Institute to issue a yellow warning of floods in coastal areas of southern and eastern Norway.

Mountain passes
There is a lot of snow in the mountains of southern Norway and a yellow warning has been issued. Motorists are asked to calculate extra driving time due to reduced visibility.
The storms led to the closure of county road 27 above Venabygdsfjellet in Innlandet. On Sunday morning, the Swedish Road Administration informs that the section will open at 10 am on Monday at the earliest.
It is also slippery in Telemark, and along the state road 13 in Vinje, the road traffic center warns of slippery roads.

Even in the north, the weather creates problems on the roads. A yellow warning has been issued in multiple locations for strong gusts of wind.
E6 Saltfjellet is closed and it is not known when it will be able to reopen. The road can be reopened at 3pm Sunday afternoon at the earliest, according to The Swedish Road Administration. E6 Kvænangsfjellet in Troms and Finnmark is closed due to thunderstorms, while E10 Bjørnfjell in Narvik has a train.
