For its third season in the Asian Le Mans Series, Walkenhorst Motorsport will enter the only BMW M4 GT3 in the Asian Championship under the ACO label in 2023.
The black and blue BMW M4 GT3 will be driven by Nicky Catsburg, Chandler Hull and Richard Heistand for all four rounds of the season, which kicks off at the Dubai Circuit before heading to Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi a week later.
Nicky Catsburg will race this season for General Motors and Corvette Racing in the FIA World Endurance Championship alongside Ben Keating in the GTE category. The Dutch driver maintains good relations with BMW after nine seasons with the Bavarian company as a works driver until last season.
Richard Heistand is a regular in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship with a 2022 season at VasserSullivan in a Lexus RC F GT3 in the GTD class. We also saw this at Walkenhorst Motorsport during the Spa 24 Hours and at BimmerWorld during the Indianapolis 8 Hours.
Chandler Hull has already been part of the Walkenhorst team for the last two seasons, already alongside Nicky Catsburg in 2022 with tenth place in the championship. He was also seen at BimmerWorld in the GT World Challenge America driving the BMW M4 GT3.
