According to the country’s central bank, about 40% came from the US, almost 25% from the European Union and about 8% from the International Monetary Fund. Germany contributed another five percent.
According to information, the support corresponded to about 16% of the existing pre-war Ukrainian economic output. The Kiev government estimates that gross domestic product has fallen by more than 30% since the Russian invasion in February.
