Brazilian manager Stefano Cugurra Teco has revealed the reasons why Willian Pacheco terminated his contract with Bali United ahead of the second round of League 1.
INDOSPORT.COM – Brazilian manager, Stefano Cugurra Teco, revealed the reason why Willian Pacheco broke his contract with Bali United before the second round League 1. It was purely a request from Pacheco who wanted to resolve personal problems in Brazil.
Bali United’s announcement to terminate Pacheco’s contract is a question mark. The reason is that Pacheco has had good results since he first entered in early 2019.
Pacheco is not only strong as a defender. When Bali United had a chance from a set piece, Pacheco was also the king of sharp headers.
In the first round of League 1 2022/2023, Pacheco scored four goals. He has temporarily become the most productive defender in the country’s competition.
However, there are strong reasons why Bali United should let Pacheco go. This is confirmed Stefano Cugurra Teco when asked about the reasons for the termination of the Pacheco contract.
“Willian worked with me for five years. We were in Persija, even four years in Bali. When he was with me there were no problems. He had good results in Persija and won twice in Bali,” said Teco.
“So, I don’t have problems with the players, but the players have personal problems. He asked the management to take care of the problem in Brazil. In the end they agreed to end the contract,” continued Teco.
Teco denied that the end of this collaboration was linked to the red card received Willian Pacheco against PSS Sleman in a system match bubble League 1.
The red card was given by the referee due to two yellow cards. One of the yellow cards was earned when Pacheco got involved in tensions with Jihad Ayoub.
