The National Meteorological Center issued several warnings of continued thunderstorms today (Saturday) in parts of Riyadh, Al-Baha and Al-Sharqiya.
The center said that the Riyadh region, especially Al-Dawadmi, Al-Quwaiyah, Afif, Al-Zulfi, Al-Ghat, Al-Majma’a, Thadiq and Shaqra will witness thunderstorms, surface winds activity and a decrease in visibility until 11:00.
He stressed that parts of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Jazan, Al-Baha and Asir regions will have a rendezvous with thunderstorms and surface wind activity until (08:00) in the evening, explaining that parts of the eastern region will witness accompanied thunderstorms by heavy rain and activity in surface winds and hail and torrential rain until the hour (11:00) in the morning.
