Rats took over the hospital in Vidin “Sveta Petka”, writes BulNews.

A patient uploaded photos of the rodents to the “Spotted in Vidin” Facebook group, so that more people could see what kind of scourge was taking place in the courtyard of the medical facility in the regional city.

In the photos you can clearly see a large mouse running around the stairs and garbage cans.

Kristan Kamenova said that rodents walked undisturbed in the hospital courtyard and it is no secret that rats are one of the biggest spreaders of infections and diseases.

The girl claims that Vidin’s doctors could not find the cause of the severe pain she had been experiencing in her abdomen for more than two weeks. The 18-year-old student was admitted to the Sveta Petka hospital’s gastroenterology department on December 15 and was discharged two days later.

The young woman from Vidin will never forget what she experienced there.

“The ward was so dirty. Absolute misery! Cockroaches were crawling everywhere. One of the creeps was crawling all over me. The doctors, nurses and orderlies treated me and the other patients terribly. The doctors told my parents that I was anorexic and that I was just more of a weakling,” the shocked girl told our media.

As soon as the frightened parents heard the serious diagnosis – anorexia, they went to ask for a second opinion from Sofia specialists. After consultations, doctors and psychologists have categorically denied that their daughter suffers from this disease.

However, on December 19, Kristan returned to the hospital in Vidin in even more pain. Just 10 days later, a surgeon examined the girl and found that she had an inflamed appendicitis, and on December 29, the 18-year-old Vidin woman underwent emergency surgery.
