But on Monday, January 2, the girl appeared on the social network and confirmed her existence to all her fans. Nicknamed the “Peach Bowl Girl,” Catherine Gurd uploaded a video clip to TikTok and captioned, “When you start 2023 with a new name,” referring to the nickname and the attention she’s garnered on social media.
Three seconds of celebrity on TV
Joking, Catherine Gurd wrote, “POV, your 3 seconds on TV somehow makes you go viral.”
Since her appearance on national television, the girl has gone from a few thousand followers to adding 43 thousand followers in just a few days, including sharing her photo in the game where it went viral.
The girl is a Buckeyes fan
“Buckeyes forever,” she captioned the photo on her Instagram. Although her favorite team lost to the Bulldogs in the Peach Bowl, the girl made waves for her beauty.
