Renault, first images of the restyling of the Clio
Renault is ready to present the restyling of the Clio, which will change its appearance slightly in 2023. The unveil of the machine is expected for the summer, even if there is still no official date for its launch. It’s one of the most successful B-segment compacts on the Old Continent, and there’s no reason to think that the new model won’t be a hit in terms of sales too.
The version that motorists like most is the petrol hybrid, and the restyling will only increase the aggressiveness of this car, especially as regards the front end. The logo of the French house will be placed in the center of the “whisker”, with the LED headlights which will take on an almost hook shape, ending above the fog lights and the lower part of the bodywork.
The 145 horsepower E-Tech Full Hybrid engine will be confirmedtherefore, the complete transition to electric will not take place and the new Clio will remain with combustion engines. There are some doubts, however, about the 1.5 diesel engine, while the LPG variant is also confirmed, all according to what was reported by “Motor1. com“.
The surprise could be given by a hypothetical plug-in hybrid version, a technology that has been depopulating in recent days and which also Renault could decide to adopt on the new version of the Clio. The list price, as was imaginable given the many innovations announced, will rise up to starting from 18 thousand euros, and obviously the cost will increase further if one were to choose to focus on the plug-in, which however has not yet been confirmed after having debuted on the Captur.
At the moment there are no official images that anticipate the shapes of the model, but today we can offer you a render published on the channel Youtube “New cars only“, where the shapes are quite realistic. What we see, in fact, is in line with the rumors we just told you about. From these first shots, you can start to get an idea of the revised model, and we’re sure you’ll appreciate it.
