Al-Marsad newspaper: Zakat, the tax and customs authority, has responded to a question about allowing the sale of alcohol in duty-free shops at airports in the Kingdom.
The authority said through the Ask Zakat Twitter account that alcohol is one of the substances that cannot be sold in free markets, according to the rules and requirements for establishing free markets.
Interestingly, Zakat and the Customs Authority today established the rules and conditions for setting up free shops at customs outlets in the Kingdom.
