Shania Twain has been busy promoting her new album, queen of meand she looked amazing when she sported a brand new pink hair makeover on Jan. 5. The 57-year-old was the guest of honor at the Today’s show when she had her new baby pink hair in waves with bangs in the front.
Shania was in New York with her husband, Frederic Thiebaud when she wore a skintight black turtleneck tucked into a high-waisted white midi skirt that was split down the front revealing her tight black leather knee-high boots. On the Today show, Shania pulled her new pink hair up into a low ponytail that was tied in a knot made from her own hair while her front bangs covered her forehead.
Shania’s pink hair is 180 of her usually brown hair. However, she managed to show off her new look and it coincides perfectly with her new album which is about “Queen’s energy”. Ever since Shania released her new music video, for her single “Waking Up Dreaming,” from the album, she’s been experimenting with kinky new looks.
For the music video, she looked like a rock star when she sported bright pink hair with bright green and yellow eyelashes. She wore a yellow and green sequined jumpsuit with a huge cut across the chest. Her look in her video was completely different from what she usually wears and in an interview with BBC, revealed the reason for her look in the video, admitting: ‘It’s all about escaping. I’m definitely one of those daydreamers – it’s so much more fun to daydream while you’re awake and come up with whatever you want to be. I want to be a rock star. I want to be PrinceI want to be Cyndi LauperI want to be all those fun crazy things I’ve never done and all those fashion things I’ve never done.
