On December 9 and 10, León will host the second edition of the ‘Goldball Freestyle Championship’ which will bring together around thirty professional freestylers for different battles in the men’s and women’s categories. The event, which has the collaboration of the Department of Sports, will begin on Friday 9 with a performance in the Plaza de San Marcelo (in front of Botines) of this championship that blends “the art of football with creative juggling, music and talent” . .
As the organizers explained, the best freestylers from Spain and Europe are involved in this project, “as well as one of the best in the world, such as Álvaro López, from Avila, who has also been Champion of Spain several times”.
Indeed, the organizers specified in the presentation of the event, the Goldball Freestyle Championship was born in Ávila thanks to the collaboration of Bendita Locura Producciones and Álvaro López to bring together all lovers of the ‘freestyler’ and urban culture.
In this case, the proposed tag team battle format will make a difference with the traditional individual style of competition, “which will allow us to see the connection and differences between the styles.”
