ASUS ships with a game controller in its ROG series. This ROG Raikiri Pro features, among other things, a small OLED screen and reprogrammable buttons. The controller will be released in the first quarter of this year.
Of ASUS ROGPro has a small 1.3″ OLED screen at the top of the controller. According to the manufacturer, users can, for example, show their own animations. The screen can also be used to display the battery percentage or to show whether the microphone integrated is deactivated With two buttons on the controller they also allow users to switch between profiles.
On the back of the controller are four programmable buttons and trigger locks, with which the buttons on the shoulders can be fixed. Users can configure the buttons via ROG Armory Crate software. They can also use it to set the vibration level or deadband of the thumbsticks.
The controller works via Bluetooth, USB-C or a 2.4GHz connection. The controller also has a built-in dac for headphones. The controller has an official Xbox license from Microsoft and also works on PC. ASUS isn’t saying exactly when the controller will be released or what the suggested retail price will be, though the Raikiri Pro is yet to appear this quarter.
