We have learned of the death of Mr Robert Bertrand, which took place on Tuesday 3 January in Manom, at the dawn of his 102nd birthday.
Born January 31, 1921 in Nilvange, lived in Illange.
Monsieur Bertrand had united his destiny with Madame Huguette born Rethore, on January 11, 1945, in Champagnac-la-Rivière (87). He had the pain of losing her on October 29, 1998.
The couple had two children, Daniele and Martina. Three grandchildren, Lionel, Floriane, Coraline, and three great-grandchildren, Clothaire, Paloma, Eliott expanded the family circle. The deceased was a retired manager of the sub-prefecture of Thionville.
