Al-Marsad Newspaper: The official meteorology spokesman, “Hussein Al-Qahtani”, confirmed that there is no cloud dispersion project in the Kingdom.
Al-Qahtani said, via a video clip that was circulated on social media, “May God bless you. I assure you from the National Meteorology Center that there is no project or program to disperse the clouds in the Kingdom.”
And he added: “What we have in the Kingdom is an increase in cloud seeding to increase rainfall. The Kingdom needs every drop of this rain, and it needs water reserves”.
He added: “We are a semi-desert country and we need water at any moment. What has been published about the existence of a project to disperse the clouds is just rumors and unreal information. All we have is a program for the ‘seeding the clouds and increasing rain.”
