3D without glasses and more powerful computers

The CES 2023 electronics fair in Las Vegas is in full swing and Asus has presented its novelties for creative users. The presentation, titled “An Incredible Future,” did not take place physically in the desert state, but in a virtual event. But the news can also be seen at the fair.

Among the new additions was Asus Spatial Vision, the world’s first glasses-free OLED 3D screen technology for laptops. Asus also showed off creative new computers, featuring 13th generation Intel Core i9 processors and Nvidia GeForce RTX 40 graphics cards.

New products include ProArt Studiobook 16 3D OLED, Zenbook Pro 16X OLED, Zenbook Pro 14 OLED and Zenbook 14X OLED.

Gamers have been spoiled by the new TUF Gaming A15/17 (FA507/707) and F15/17 (FX507/707) laptops with up to Intel Core i9-13900H or AMD Ryzen 9 Zen 4 processors and the latest GeForce RTX 40 GPUs.

Glasses-free OLED 3D

Asus Spatial Vision is the world’s first glasses-free OLED 3D display technology. The technology works with eye tracking camera technology which allows the monitor to create different images for each eye.

Glasses-free 3D is nothing new, but the OLED screen has a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 and a refresh rate of 120Hz, meaning a flicker-free experience. The technology makes its debut in Asus ProArt Studiobook 16 3D OLED (H7604), with a 3.2K 120Hz OLED 3D screen without glasses. Other specs include the 13th Generation Intel Core i9-13980HX processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 graphics, and up to 64GB of RAM. There will also be a model with a traditional 2D OLED touchscreen.

The more compact ones also received OLED screens. Zen book Pros 14 OLEDs and Zenbook 14X OLED both have 2.8K 120Hz displays and obviously the fad of the year in Intel processors. Both are available with Nvidia graphics.

As a business machine, it’s protected in every possible way, with NFC access, a Kensington lock slot, a physical webcam cover, and a fingerprint sensor. And if you’ve come to ask for a raise, the machine has a status light on the lid that turns on automatically when the user is busy.
