The Buffalo Bills share a promising update Damar HamelnHealth.
Two days after the NFL star was hospitalized after suffering cardiac arrest during a Jan. 2 game against the Cincinnati Bengals, his team released a statement about the state of safety.
“Damar remains in critical condition in the ICU with signs of improvement noted yesterday and overnight,” the Buffalo Bills said tweeted on January 4th. “He is expected to remain in intensive care while his health care team continues to monitor and treat him.”
The social media post comes a day after the athlete’s uncle Dorrian Glenn he said Hamlin, who is currently hospitalized at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, was placed on a ventilator. While Glenn initially told CNN on Jan. 3 that Hamlin had been revived twice, Jordan Rooneya marketing rep and friend, who claims to be the family’s spokesperson, told NBC News Jan. 4 that Hamlin’s uncle screwed up and the 24-year-old was revived once, while on the field at Paycor Stadium.
