Producers, operators and industry will meet again at the pike (Valladolid) Thursday 19 January. It’s already the XI edition of Potato Day, a meeting point that already appears with great personalities in the calendar of the sector, in Spain and beyond.
The program welcomes all concerns, such as the one raised regarding the digital registration of food contracts, where the contracts signed by the producers must be recorded.
The registration of contracts can be done from 31 January 2023, even if it will not be necessary until 30 June, as clarified by the royal decree recently approved by the Government.
El Carpio will also discuss other aspects related to the relationship between the farmer and his client, as well as analyzing the agronomic issues most relevant, from semen and health to fertilization.
They will talk about water and energy cost, and once again the machinery linked to cultivation will once again have a strong presence.
