From today a new turning point in time awaits us. Snow may fall, but not in Bulgaria, but in northern Romania and Hungary. This is according to the prediction of Meteo Balcani forecasters.
Scattered clouds will prevail during the day of January 5th. Around noon a south-west wind will blow and temperatures will rise. The maximum will be between 10-16°C.
Weather in Sofia:
There will be foggy conditions in the morning hours.
Partly cloudy skies will prevail during the day. The degrees will rise, and their maximum values will be in the range of 12-14°С.
Weather in the mountains:
It will be mostly cloudy and misty until midday, but in the afternoon, the clouds will break into sunny weather. A moderate northwesterly wind will continue to blow. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters will be around 7°, at 2000 meters around 0°C.
Weather on the Black Sea:
Until noon, the weather will be mostly cloudy and foggy. In the afternoon, the clouds will open in sunny weather. Maximum temperatures will rise slightly and will be between 12-14°C. Sea excitement will be about 2 bales.
Weather in the Balkans:
An approaching cold weather front will worsen the weather over northern Romania and Hungary. Light rain and snow will fall on these areas above 1400-1600 meters. The weather will improve in the central-southern regions of the peninsula.
