ROLAND will release BRIDGE CAST game audio mixer (open price) on January 28, as the company’s first device for game distributors, which realizes live distribution of games with high sound quality.
BRIDGE CAST can adjust the volume balance of various sounds such as the microphone used by the streamer (distributor), voice chat with friends in the game, game sounds, background music, etc. In addition, it is equipped with a dual audio mixer function that can independently adjust the sound that the streamer wants to hear and the sound that is easy for the viewer to hear. It is said that it is possible to make a high-quality distribution that entertains viewers by focusing on the game.
An external professional microphone (dynamic/condenser) can be connected and a high-performance preamplifier is integrated. Enjoy in-game conversations and commentary with clear, dynamic sound. Additionally, it features a headphone amplifier capable of driving high-impedance headphones, allowing for high-quality sound monitoring. In addition to adjusting the sound with the built-in DSP compressor and EQ (equalizer), there is also a voice changer using the company’s VT series technology.
It also supports the production of background music and sound effects that excite game distribution. A dedicated app (compatible with Windows/Mac) that lets you make various detailed settings will let you enjoy thousands of copyright-free songs and sound effects provided by Roland Cloud (expected to start linking from May).
Also, the operation panel can be customized to your favorite design. Using the template data provided on the website, you can create a sheet with an original design and insert it into the panel. Additionally, you can change the color of the LEDs surrounding the four control knobs.
