Digitization is also important for small and medium-sized businesses in order to remain profitable. The regional agency Düsseldorf-Mettmann at the Social Affairs Office, the regional agency Bergisches Städtedreieck and the medium-sized digital center WertNetzWerke therefore offer a series of free workshops. Employees are trained to become “digital scouts” for their company. With the knowledge gained, they can identify topics and tasks of digitization in their own company and show possible solutions.
The kick-off and information event will take place on Thursday 19 January from 15:00 to 18:00 at the KNIPEX C. Gustav Putsch KG plant, Oberkamper Straße 13, in Wuppertal. Interested companies from the Düsseldorf region can register online at www.regionalalagentur-d-me.de Registration. Questions will be answered by telephone on 0211-8996709.
Small businesses, in particular, often lack the capacity to identify opportunities for digital innovations and implement digital projects. Resistance in the workforce is generally great. But if someone from your ranks is trained in such a way that they can identify the first steps towards digital transformation, then this opens up new perspectives with little effort. “Digital Scouts” become “pioneers”. As employees, they have the advantage, unlike external consultants, that they know all the processes in the company and their colleagues well. A total of six workshops will take place, each lasting three hours.
