Samsung took advantage of the CES 2023 event to unveil some novelties in terms of smartphones, and the company confirmed the arrival of the new Galaxy A14 5G on the market.
This model it will be the cheapest within the Galaxy A line, focused on the entry-level market and anyone looking for a device for basic tasks. The model has a plastic build, with a camera design reminiscent of more advanced models in the line – like the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
The model has a 6.6-inch LCD screen, with Full HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. It also has a drop-shaped notch, where the front camera is located.
And speaking of cameras, this model has a 50MP main sensor, accompanied by a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor. As for the selfie camera, there is a 13MP sensor.
Samsung has not disclosed which processor is used in this model, but it is believed to be the MediaTek Dimensity 700, taking into account that it has been the processor used for entry-level devices with 5G support.
Also noteworthy are the 4GB of RAM, with up to 128GB of internal storage, and support for microSD cards up to 1TB. The 5000mAh battery allows for 15W charging.
This model is expected to be available for around $199, making it the cheapest model in the lineup.
