A source close to the artist, Sherine Abdel Wahab, told the ‘Arab Wood’ program that she was released after being interrogated yesterday.
The source said the investigation with her came under a judicial warrant following her visit with her husband, Hossam Habib, the fugitive artist, Fadl Shaker.
The source denied what was circulated about the hotel break-in, as the story took place quietly, especially as Sherine obtained a permit from one of the security services to enter Ain El-Hilweh.
Sherine will complete her vacation in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, until her next concert in Kuwait.
Lebanese authorities had investigated Sherine due to her visit to Lebanese artist, Fadl Shaker, who is fleeing judicial sentences at Ain El-Hilweh camp in Lebanon.
