Apollo had to cut plans for charters from Kvernberget in 2020 and 2021 due to the corona pandemic, but 2022 was a year in which the voyages from Kristiansund were, so to speak, fully booked.
One reason was that the wanderlust was at its peak again after the long stay and, moreover, many North Moors had to change their plans when another company – Detur – canceled their charter trips shortly before departure. A good number of these then chose to jump on Apollo’s charter offer.

And in the summer of 2023 it will again be possible to travel to more southern regions from Kristiansund. Apollo provided information on charter offers from various cities in Norway on Tuesday, and the company confirms that Kvernberget is on the list.
– The route from Kristiansund will of course also be available this summer, says Apollo communications manager Beatriz Rivera for Tidens Krav.
Apollo will fly direct from Kvernberget to Heraklion on the Greek island of Crete every Saturday from 23 June to 11 August.
The company believes 2023 will be its best travel year in a long time and has conducted research showing that six out of ten charter trips from Norway this summer will go to Greece.
– Crete is and remains the big favorite of the whole country, and it’s not hard to see why. There’s truly something for everyone here, whether you’re traveling with or without children, want to fill your suitcase with activities and experiences, or just want to completely relax in beautiful surroundings, says Rivera.
Apollo is also organizing trips to Crete from Molde Årø airport this summer. These start a week earlier than in Kristiansund and take place every Saturday from 16 June to 11 August.
