Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah touched on the recent problem with the free patriotic movement and said, “We are eager to address it through communication, and it deserves internal evaluation, and there will be close meetings,” stressing that “we will not we take the initiative to remove our hand, and if the latter decides to remove his hand, we do not force him to keep the alliance”.

Nasrallah added, on the third anniversary of the assassination of Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani and Popular Mobilization Forces head Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis in the southern suburbs: “We prefer internal discussion with allies, and we are passionate of speech, literature and language in external debate.”

He said: “Since February 2006, many have been waiting for the fall of this understanding, the disintegration of the alliance and the fall of friendship, and has withstood very difficult circumstances,” noting, “The Lebanese need for more understanding and friendships, and any difficulty can be addressed through direct communication from a position of responsibility.”

On the presidential issue, Nasrallah said, “We are not looking for a president who protects the backs of the resistance, and a president who does not defame the resistance is one who protects it from civil war and in the face of Israeli dangers and threats.”

He added: “Iran is only negotiating on the nuclear dossier, and those who wait for the negotiations will wait for decades, and this is a wrong and ignorant understanding. And for those who are waiting for a Saudi-Iranian consensus, Iran is not discussing the presidential election.” and does not interfere in Lebanese internal affairs.”

He underlined that “the president is an entrance to reshape the state again, and we must return to each other and support bilateral meetings”, wishing “to hold more dialogues and not wait for the outside, and what is said of an exaggerated French role ”, underlining that “the greater the responsibility of the parliamentary blocs”.

Regarding the Arab question, Nasrallah stated that “the attack by the Zionists on the Al-Aqsa mosque and on Islamic and Christian holy places in Jerusalem will not blow up the situation in Palestine, but could rather blow up the entire region,” and said, “We see great hope in Netanyahu’s mismanagement.”

He also stressed that “we will not tolerate any change in the rules of engagement or any violation of the level of protection in Lebanon, and we stress the importance of the Lebanese state continuing to extract oil and gas.”
