On Sunday, January 1, 2023, around 5:20 am, a 37-year-old woman was sexually assaulted on Eisenbahnstrasse in Freiburg.

The victim was walking home when she was accosted by three men and initially walked by them for approximately 150 metres. There was physical contact. At a drugstore on Eisenbahnstraße, the men pushed the 37-year-old into a corner and immorally touched her against her will. The woman called for help and responded. When a security guard from a nearby hotel intervened, the suspects fled in an unknown direction. The victim later noticed that her cell phone had been stolen.

There is currently no description of the perpetrator.
