It is the police who report the accident, which took place in a private garage in Askøy north-west of Bergen.

Police received a report at 4.22pm from the emergency medical ambulance center about the incident.
– The ambulance arrived at the scene first. One person sustained extensive injuries to one arm. The person received quick help and was sent to the Haukeland emergency room, says Per Magnus Vabø, incident leader at the Western Police District.
The police are in control of the site and will eventually carry out further investigations into the site. There shouldn’t be a fire hazard in the garage and so the firefighters were sent back.
It is not known what kind of fireworks are involved.
Police observed more fireworks at the scene.
Professional staff received photos of the fireworks, which will evaluate what can be done next, according to the incident leader.
