Ad! Using KRL, you can no longer pay through LinkAja as of January 16th

As of January 16, 2023, passengers KRL commuter line can no longer use the application LinkAja in payment transactions.

This information was broadcast by PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia (KCI) in December 2022 via @CommuterLine Twitter account.

“Starting January 16, 2023, payment of Commuterline tickets in Jabodetabek and Yogya-Solo with the application LinkAja will be disabled. #RekanCommuters may use other payment options with Multi Trip Cards, Bank Cards and other QR Codes (specific QR Codes for Commuterlines in Jabodetabek),” the @CommuterLine account tweeted, quoted on Monday (02/01/2022).

In confirmation of this, KCI Public Relations Manager Leza Arlan confirmed the cessation of the use of LinkAja in KRL’s payment transactions. Transactions cannot be made after January 16th.

“In connection with the collaboration between PT Fintek Karya Nusantara (LinkAja) and PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia (KCI) as part of providing a choice of payment methods for commuter line transportation users in both Jabodetabek and Yogya-Only using QR code, we may be informed that in future this method of payment will no longer be possible,” said Leza, contacted by detikcom, on Monday (02/01/2022).

This information was submitted in the form of a LinkAja participation statement. It is also written that both LinkAja and KCI will inform via official channels if the application can be reused.

It was also disclosed that during this transition process, LinkAja will ensure that all transactions remain safe and secure.

“If there is a transaction problem that occurred before January 16, 2023, users can contact LinkAja call center (150911), send an email to info@linkaja.id or live chat at www.linkaja .id (customer menu). Users can also contact the KCI PT officer at the commuter station counter,” he continued.

Leza pointed out that KCI itself followed up on the statement that was conveyed through LinkAja’s participation statement. You also said that transactions using other methods and applications remain secure and will not be disturbed.
