Blinding lights by The Weeknd is the most listened album ever on Spotify. The 2019 song has now been listened to more than 3.3 billion times and is therefore Shape of you from Ed Sheeran onwards.
The Weeknd himself reflects on the milestone on Twitter. “Happy New Year to you Blinding lightsthe most streamed single of all time.”
Blinding lights in Shape of you are the only songs to have been listened to more than three billion times on Spotify. Now in third place Dancing monkey by Tones and I with 2.7 billion streams.
Sheeran held the record for nearly 4.5 years. Previous record holders include A ball by Drake e To lean Go Major Lazer.
