In Australia, at least four people died in a collision between two helicopters. Three other passengers were seriously injured. A few other people had to be checked in hospital.
The incident occurred near the Seaworld theme park just outside Brisbane. The helicopters collided on a popular tourist beach. One managed to make an emergency landing, but the other ended up upside down in the waves.
It is not yet clear what caused the crash. It is currently very busy on the Gold Coast, which has always been a popular tourist destination in the Australian summer in January.
