To put an end to the abandonment of Christmas trees by the roadside, the urban community of Portes de France-Thionville organizes a specific collection in January. All you have to do is take care to free your tree of its decorations, not wrap it in a Christmas tree bag and place it the night before (from the harvest) on the sidewalk, at the foot of underground containers or on the main thoroughfare for those who live on a cul-de-sac. The collection will take place on January 9 and 10 in Yutz, January 12 and 13 in Terville, January 16 (Thionville), January 17 (downtown Thionville), January 19 (Garche, Koeking, Oeutrange, Beuvange, Metzange and Volkrange) and January 20 (Elange and Veymerange) in Thionville, January 23 in Basse-Ham, Illange and Kuntzig, January 26 in Tressange and January 27 in Angevillers, Rochonvillers, Havange and Lommerang.
